The betting firm has increased its total bet from £70 million to £1 billion, representing 60% of its target to bet on the 2020 Olympics. It has also increased its total bet on the London 2022 Games from £70 million to £1 billion, representing 50% of its target to bet on those games. The company, which is owned by the UK's GVC, the parent of Toto and Paddy Power, said the London 2020 bet will be its biggest bet ever. "We support the ODA's strategy to deliver the best possible experience for the spectators in the UK and around the world and wish them every success," said Danskin. "It is an honour to be part of this opportunity, with William Hill's UK market share of some 30 million customers and a track record of championing sports betting across the UK." The ODA said it would run a £3.6 billion budget for the games, with no more than £180 million, or 0.6%, of public money.
